| Dear Jazz:
Every time I think of my time spent
in NotUnder40 I will think of you. You were always such a gentleman, greeting
everyone with a friendly smile and your famous wit. I feel blessed
that you kept in touch over the years, you were a dear, dear friend and
I will miss you terribly.
Love always,
Connie
It has been mentioned that Jazzbo was
skilled with creating from wood. I think anybody who ever met him will
agree, he had the warmest personality that has etched a permanent smile
for us all when we think of him.

Dear Jazz,
I have had the privilege of knowing
you for the past 7 years. I can honestly say that there has never
been one moment when you were not a true gentleman. Chatting with
you always left a smile on my face. You ALWAYS paid me the ultimate
compliment of making me feel as if chatting with me was one of your favorite
things to do...and there were days when that was appreciated much more
than you ever knew. How I admired your positive attitude. No
matter what you were facing, you found something positive and uplifting
to say. My life has been richly blessed because I have had the privilege
of calling you friend.

Al & I had such a wonderful visit
with Vern last May/June??? We were traveling down to CA to visit
real good friends and wanted to stop & see Jazz in his new?? House
in Oregon. We had had such a wonderful visit with him about four
years ago when we first got to meet him in New Mexico. He talked
so highly about the Pancake Cathye (you) sorry can't remember that
story...something to do with blueberries???! This time round we got
to stay overnite and meet his puppies. He was such a dear man.
He showed us the wood working projects he was working on and his wood shop.
He was such a fine craftperson!; the picture from Mars from his brother
in law that he dearly treasured. He was so proud of his family and
that love was so...evident. We had a lovely dinner at a beach side
hotel and watched the
sunset go down. The memories
are strong and we will not forget our dear
friend Jazz/Vern and we thank our Lord
for the chance to meet him and give him a hug. Our prayers are with him
and his family and dear friends.

Jazz,
You were a joy to be with. I never
heard a bad word from you. You always had wonderful things to say
about the people around you and life around you. I was one of the
lucky ones that got to meet you in person, not only once but twice.
I did enjoy the good times with you. Will always remember you fondly.

Dear Jazzbo,
You were one of the first people I talked
to on the net. I always enjoyed chatting with you. When I found
out you moved to Florence I was really suprised. I wish I would have
taken the time to drive up there to meet you in person. I have fond
memories of you. I will miss you a lot as you were a good friend.
Love,
Teressa
