IN LOVING
MEMORY
Ad van Dongen
aka Devil Ad
aka Devil in Disguise
(1945 - 1999)
Ad was one of those unique individuals who caused a smile wherever
he went. He was an intelligent and fun-loving man, a loving father and partner, and a
treasured friend. He will be greatly missed. This page is to honor him and to serve as an
ever-present reminder of the blessings his life brought to each of us. Most words have
been left the way he said them ("") so that his true color will shine through
<S>
"Devil Ad in some adult forums in CompuServe and in Worlds Away, aka Devil in
Disguise, is Ad van Dongen, journalist and editor in The Netherlands. Ad is 54 (but looks
like 52), lives together with Ermanda (see family-pics) and son
Frank who is about 1½ years now. Hobbies are sports: tabletennis (see
TTV De Boys), ice-skating, wildwater-canoing, but not swimming, walking and other
things you get tired of. Ad studied history and literature, but also got some experience
in computing and electronics. That's why he is writing books about computing (see bibliography) and the real history: prehistory and middle-ages.
He is working in his own company ComSult (see ComSult) with some
freelancers helping him to publish books and to give lessons in informatica."
Before you leave, won't you visit the MEMORY WALL and read the tributes from some of his IRC
friends. If you'd like to add a tribute to the wall, just send it to cathscorneremail@yahoo.com, and I'll be happy to add it.
GOODBYE, AD!!
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES,
AND THANK YOU FOR BLESSING OUR LIVES!!
WE'LL MISS YOU!
